Final project moving on a pace

Although the new iMac has yet to arrive (19th May is the big day) I am forging along with what I can do on the now laboring Trusty Laptop.

Hand drawn sections complete and drawn up onto A1 architectural blanks, all to the revised/new ground plan and sketch up fiddled with to reflect most of new design I am starting on the Key Plans and cascade drawings which is the next big chunk of work to knock of the list.

This weeks 2 day photography course is long awaited and in preparation everything is polished, charged and formatted and now packed. Easy to be ready when you're excited about the long days of study (9am-8pm).

What would it be like to represent every day with one image? - Creating a Book of Days for 2010

I first heard the term Day Book years ago when I was temping for some senior training guru at Xerox. The day book/file was for any papers related to that day. Simple really but pretty effective in focusing attention on that one particular days demands and needs.

On Flickr I saw this http://www.flickr.com/photos/martintaylor/ gr8 version of a day book, things that are noticed by the photographer daily.

So this year I am going to do the same, with a bit of a hiccup in week one I'll admit, but from today I'll post daily images here http://www.flickr.com/photos/42165066@N03/

IGPOTY 2010

Instead of getting on with homework I spent this morning filtering and editing some shots to enter into IGPOTY. As D said "you have to be in it to win it!".

So at 9 days 32 hours and 37 minutes to go before the deadline I uploaded my 8 offerings and am 'in it'. And, although I am proud of the shots, given the competition (!) am not that expectant of getting anywhere.
